Pizza Panini

Serves 10


  • 10 small foccacia, Turkish or normal rolls
  • ¾ cup salt reduced tomato paste
  • 10 slices reduced fat ham
  • 1 red or green capsicum, finely sliced
  • 1 x 400g can pineapple pieces in juice, drained
  • 3 cups (400g) grated reduced fat mozzarella cheese
  • 3 teaspoons dried oregano


  1. Split rolls and spread each side with tomato paste then fill with remaining      ingredients.
  2. Place panini in pie warmer for 15 minutes or until warm and melted. These can      also be toasted in a sandwich press.


Add olives or sliced mushrooms if catering for adventurous eaters. For pizza jaffles, substitute rolls for wholemeal bread and toast in a jaffle maker.
