Aquaculture without Frontiers (AwF) has announced the start of its Global Schools & Students Network in Australia. The students have started a project to raise awareness of AwF and its work and this will culminate in a fundraising dinner at the Huon Valley Trade Training Centre on 22 October 2014 in Huonville, which is very much at the heart of Tasmanian aquaculture.

Nestle Golden Chefs Hat 2014 regional cook-offs ACT team winners

Amanda Polsen, 23, and Georgia Harrison, 20, have turned up the heat in the 2014 Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award Regional Cook-offs, winning the Australian Capital Territory title at Canberra Institute of Technology.
